A five to six-hour package, comprising a two-hour guided, interpreted rainforest walk, a one-hour cruise through the world’s most diverse mangrove community (in search of elusive estuarine crocodiles), lunch in an idyllic setting beside a rainforest stream and time to absorb the invigorating attributes of Cooper Creek (conditions permitting).
Only a very small proportion of travellers that cross the Daintree River Ferry actually fulfill their expectations, which are predominantly getting into old-growth forest in pristine condition and seeing some of Australia's most unique wildlife in natural habitat. |
